IPT Master Class on Conflict Transformation

During this master class, participants get acquainted with the underlying philosophical approaches, theoretical concepts and practical tools for facilitating conflict transformation in complex constellations. Participants will develop skills, and practice a facilitator’s attitude to apply their knowledge in different settings
(eg. as inside mediators, as third party, or when working with potential veto groups) and at different societal levels.

What other participants say

  • I really liked the human basic needs-approach to conflict transformation. I do truly believe that if we work on the human basic needs level, we can foster positive change. All of us are just humans, after all.
  • This was a very powerful exercise. At first, I was a bit hesitant what this exercise might entail, but after embracing it you could truly learn from it and reflect on your own decisions and the implications of your perspective and how they can narrow your view if you are not aware of it. It sharpened my awareness.
  • I received knowledge, understood my skills, learned cases from the other participants. I think I will do some analysis based on the Conflict Transformation model for my field and discuss it with my colleagues.
